Using the\r\n            machine under such circumstances may cause it to break down.<\/p>\r\n        <p>To prevent machine breakdowns, use the self-diagnosis menu to determine if it is necessary to\r\n            replace or repair parts.<\/p>\r\n        <p><strong>Inspection items<\/strong><\/p>\r\n        <ol>\r\n            <li>Spindle(KSL-F: Bearing specification\uff09<\/li>\r\n            <li>Hydrostatic bearing spindle (KSL-F: Hydrostatic bearing specifications)<\/li>\r\n            <li>Dynamic bearing spindle (KPL: Dynamic bearing only)<\/li>\r\n            <li>Bed bellows<\/li>\r\n            <li>Cylinder for table driving<\/li>\r\n        <\/ol>\r\n        <div class=\"text-center\">\r\n            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shi-ftec.co.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/service_img11.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"\r\n                    src=\"https:\/\/www.shi-ftec.co.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/service_img11.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"841\" height=\"236\"\r\n                    class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1336\" \/><\/a>\r\n            <p>Figure 1 Machine inspection position (The position of the KSL-F spindle is not depicted\r\n                here.)<\/p>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n        <p>If any of the following applies, a machine overhaul may be necessary.<br \/>\r\n            First, please check each of the following items.<\/p>\r\n        <p>Note 1: For KPL users, check item 2. if spindle has hydrostatic bearing and item 3. if it has\r\n            dynamic bearing .<\/p>\r\n        <p>Note 2: For KPL users, check item 1. if spindle is bearing and item 2. if it has hydrostatic\r\n            bearing. Check items 4 and 5 regardless of the machine type.<\/p>\r\n        <p>\u2460Spindle (KSL-F: Bearing specifications\uff09<\/p>\r\n        <ol>\r\n            <li>The operation time has exceeded 10,000 hours.<\/li>\r\n            <li>There is a strange noise when the spindle is rotating.<\/li>\r\n            <li>It feels strange when it is rotated manually.<\/li>\r\n        <\/ol>\r\n\r\n        <p>\u2461Hydrostatic bearing spindle (KSL-F: Hydrostatic bearing specifications)<\/p>\r\n        <ol>\r\n            <li>20% or more of the pocket pressure is down compared to the start.<\/li>\r\n            <li>The filter is clogged.<\/li>\r\n            <li>There is abnormal heat generated.<\/li>\r\n            <li>There is a strange noise when the Hydrostatic\u3000bearing spindle is rotating.<\/li>\r\n            <li>It feels strange when it is rotated manually under hydrostatic pressure (scraping,\r\n                changes in weight, etc.) <\/li>\r\n            <li>The oil is dirty.<\/li>\r\n        <\/ol>\r\n\r\n        <p>\u2462Dynamic bearing spindle (KPL: Dynamic bearing specifications only)<\/p>\r\n        <ol>\r\n            <li>The free running time differs. (15 seconds or so is normal; 9 seconds and below is\r\n                considered abnormal.)<\/li>\r\n            <li>The filter is clogged.<\/li>\r\n            <li>There is a strange noise when the Hydrostatic\u3000bearing spindle is rotating.<\/li>\r\n            <li>It feels strange when it is rotated manually under dynamic pressure.<\/li>\r\n            <li>The oil is dirty.<\/li>\r\n        <\/ol>\r\n\r\n        <p>\u2463Bed bellows (front and back)<\/p>\r\n        <ol>\r\n            <li>There is significant degradation.<\/li>\r\n            <li>There is damage such as holes.<\/li>\r\n            <li>It is bent.<\/li>\r\n        <\/ol>\r\n        <p>The bellows is a consumable, so it may degrade and be damaged when used for a long period of\r\n            time.<br \/>Using the machine under such circumstances may cause coolant, waste, etc., to\r\n            enter the bed groove and cause the machine to break down.<\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\u2464Cylinder for table driving<\/p>\r\n        <ol>\r\n            <li>It feels strange when moving the table.<\/li>\r\n            <li>Oil is leaking near the cylinder.<\/li>\r\n        <\/ol>\r\n        <p>The cylinder is hidden by the bellows, so it is not visible usually.<br \/>\r\n            As a result, operators may not notice any damage, which may lead to a major machine failure.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>Please contact us if any of the above applies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n        <h3>Updating control devices that cannot be repaired<\/h3>\r\n        <p>Some control devices installed in our grinding machines cannot be repaired after the\r\n            production has stopped and the applicable service period has passed, even if they are\r\n            broken. If a part of the device breaks down, the entire device needs to be replaced.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n        <p>Some devices may take a while to prepare, so there is a risk that they may need to be stopped\r\n            for a long period of time after they break down. As preventive maintenance, we recommend\r\n            updating control devices before that happens.<\/p>\r\n        <p>The list below is an example of such devices.
