Proposals for preventive maintenance: CNC Precision Surface\r\n Grinding Machine – KSH Series<\/h1>\r\n\r\n\r\n

Self-diagnosis: Precision Surface Grinding Machine KSH Series self-diagnosis menu<\/h3>\r\n

Every part of the machine is a consumable, so it may degrade and be damaged. Using the\r\n machine under such circumstances may cause it to break down.<\/p>\r\n

To prevent machine breakdowns, use the self-diagnosis menu to determine if it is necessary to\r\n replace or repair parts.<\/p>\r\n

    If any of the following applies, a machine overhaul may be necessary.
    \r\n First, please check each of the following items.<\/p>\r\n

    \u2460Spindle<\/p>\r\n

      \r\n
    1. The operation time has exceeded 10,000 hours.<\/li>\r\n
    2. There is a strange noise when the spindle is rotating.<\/li>\r\n
    3. It feels strange when it is rotated manually.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n\r\n

      \u2461Hydrostatic bearing spindle<\/p>\r\n

        \r\n
      1. 20% or more of the pocket pressure is down compared to the start.<\/li>\r\n
      2. The filter is clogged.<\/li>\r\n
      3. There is abnormal heat generated.<\/li>\r\n
      4. There is a strange noise when the Hydrostatic\u3000bearing spindle is rotating.<\/li>\r\n
      5. It feels strange when it is rotated manually under hydrostatic pressure. <\/li>\r\n
      6. The oil is dirty.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n\r\n

        \u2462Bed bellows (left and right)<\/p>\r\n

          \r\n
        1. There is significant degradation.<\/li>\r\n
        2. There is damage such as holes.<\/li>\r\n
        3. It is bent.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n\r\n

          1. There is significant degradation.<\/li>\r\n

            The bellows is a consumable, so it may degrade and be damaged when used for a long period of\r\n time.
            \r\n Using the machine under such circumstances may cause coolant, waste, etc., to enter the bed\r\n groove and cause the machine to break down.<\/p>\r\n

            \u2464Linear guides<\/p>\r\n

              \r\n
            1. It feels strange when moving the table.<\/li>\r\n
            2. Lubricating oil has not been applied to the linear guides. (No lubricating oil on the\r\n linear guides rail.)<\/li>\r\n
            3. Rust has developed.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n

              The Linear guides for guiding tables is hidden by the bellows, so it is not visible\r\n usually.
              \r\n As a result, operators may not notice any damage, which may lead to a major machine failure.\r\n <\/p>\r\n

              1. There is a loud noise when it is reversed (sound of metal banging).<\/li>\r\n
              2. There is a loud noise from the Speed reducer when the machine is running.<\/li>\r\n
              3. The timing belt is undulated greatly when it is reversed.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n

                Updating control devices that cannot be repaired<\/h3>\r\n

                Some control devices installed in our grinding machines cannot be repaired after the\r\n production has stopped and the applicable service period has passed, even if they are\r\n broken. If a part of the device breaks down, the entire device needs to be replaced.\r\n <\/p>\r\n

                Some devices may take a while to prepare, so there is a risk that they may need to be stopped\r\n for a long period of time after they break down. As preventive maintenance, we recommend\r\n updating control devices before that happens.<\/p>\r\n
