Floor Magnetic Separators

Low Cost Floor Magnetic Type

The equipment places magnets over the tank bottom. By exerting magnetic force on the submerged chips, it forces them to sink to the lower surface of the tank where they are discharged by the pick-up conveyor. As the coolant is uniformly in contact with the floor magnets, it flows slowly along the bottom surface. This results in not only magnetic sludge, but also non-magnetic sludge being caught up and sunk.

  • As the dirty tank and the clean tank are one in the same, the running costs only involve the electricity from the clean pump motor and the conveyor motor.
  • As the floor magnets are spread rationally, the attraction power is at an average level regardless of position. Moreover, the magnetic force is only concentrated on the upper surface.
  • When the electric current value of the conveyor motor exceeds the set value, operation is stopped by an over current relay safety device.

Construction

  • The dirty tank and clean tank are only connected at the lower part of the tanks by means of a guidance plate. The tank is constructed so that the conveyor can dredge up the upper surface of the tank bottom on which ferrite magnets are arranged.
  • The entire volume of coolant slowly passes through the magnetic area, flowing toward the clean tank. During this time, the magnetic chips and sludge sink, either naturally or by force. in the bottom part of the tank, the magnetic material as well as the non-magnetic material that clings to the magnetic material is drawn by the magnets and accumulated.
  • The chips and sludge that have accumulated on the bottom surface are picked up by the conveyor, collected and discharged from the upper part of the exit.
  • Moreover, the scum, etc. that is floating on the surface of the coolant can easily be removed by installing the DS Model Oil Skimmer.
  • The clean coolant is sent to the machine by the clean pump.

Uses

  • flows to a clean tank as for a coolant liquid. Naturally as for magnetism chips in the liquid and sludge meanwhile or I sink by force
